Beau Coops – Online Shop Review
The Beau Coops name is coined after two words: ‘Beau’, a term for a handsome man; and ‘Coops’, referring to Carrie Cooper, the store’s resident designer. Putting the words together, Beau Coops’ concept is to present a stylish, handsome footwear option for casual but sophisticated females, imbibed with a lot of class and comfort. Cooper’s inspiration is boyfriend chic, wherein stylish girlfriends borrow masculine, handsome items from their lovers.
Its web interface is elegant, with black and gray accents floating on a white canvass. The brand’s label is made up of a distinctive font. Navigation is found beneath the header, while a sleek rotating feature banner displays feature items. An array of social media icons is found on the upper right corner of the page, inviting Beau Coops users to follow freely.
Inside the Beau Coops store is a wide range of shoes for norm-core lovers, offering chunky but charming brogues, sexy stilettos, brazen boots and pretty platforms. The navigation shows items exclusively for women, but men can discover unisex footwear in the mix.
All of the shoes are showcased in a bold, elegant gallery. On clicking the product’s page, users can see a larger version of the image, item description, shoe size and price. Beau Coops items are sold in a bit more expensive rate compared to regular footwear, being designer-made in Italy.
The website also showcases Carrie Cooper’s own collections, featuring footwear for men and women for different fashion houses. Unfortunately, these items are only for display and are not available for purchase online. Beau Coops also join hands with designer Karen Walker in producing a collaborative collection available in the website.
Different stores in Australia, such as Zomp, Shoes and the City and The Iconic carries the Beau Coops brand. The label is also carried by online and offline shops in New Zealand, Europe and US.
